EXPLAIN is an independent consulting firm specialized in transport planning. We bring together a close-knit team of recognized experts, at the service of those who are shaping the mobility of tomorrow: communities, operators, developers, investors or project developers.
Depuis 2024, Explain s’est associé à la société Kiomda, créatrice de solutions innovantes pour mesurer la fréquentation des espaces publics.
Fondée en Bretagne par Jean-Claude Dubois, inventeur reconnu et titulaire de 28 brevets, Kiomda conçoit et produit des capteurs de comptage autonomes, discrets et respectueux de l’espace public.
Sa technologie stéréoscopique brevetée permet de compter piétons, cyclistes et véhicules avec une grande précision, sans travaux ni collecte de données personnelles.
Cette intégration dans le groupe Adeona, créé par Explain, permet de rapprocher deux expertises complémentaires : celle de l'électronique de pointe au service de la donnée, portée par Kiomda, et celle de l’analyse et de la planification, portée par Explain.
En croisant nos compétences, nous offrons aux collectivités, aux aménageurs et aux gestionnaires de sites des solutions complètes, allant de l'obervation à la stratégie, pour mieux comprendre les usages, réguler les flux et piloter les transitions de mobilité.
