
At the heart of a territory undergoing strong residential and economic development, the Communauté d'Agglomération d'Agen (CAA) has initiated the revision of its planning documents — SCoT and Plui-HD — in order to integrate the transformations induced by the LOM law and by the energy transition.
The community has entrusted to Explain the realization of a transversal diagnosis “urbanism and mobility”, then the construction of a sustainable mobility strategy articulated around the main guidelines for land use planning.
The study was based on a resolutely interdisciplinary approach:

The main challenge of the mission was tosustainably anchor mobility in urban planning tools, so that each urban project contributes to the reduction of emissions and the improvement of accessibility.
